Anytime you are riding your bicycle in Australia or New Zealand.
Am I covered whilst racing?
No, participating in racing events is excluded. This exclusion does not apply to members of a partner, participating in an event organised by the partner.
Am I covered whilst overseas?
No, cover is limited to Australia and New Zealand.
Do I need to be an Australian Resident to be covered?
Yes, you must be a permanent Australian Resident at the time of the incident.

Why are Medicare related expenses excluded?
Insurers are prohibited by law to make any payments for any service for which Medicare also makes any payment. This includes any Medicare Gap. The Health Insurance Act states:
Section 126 Prohibits an Insurer to:
Make a payment in the event of the incurring by the other person of a liability to pay Medical expenses in respect of the rendering in Australia of a professional service for which Medicare benefit is, or but for subsection 18(4) would be payable.
Is a Heath Insurance Gap covered?
Yes, generally any gap in a heath insurance payment would be covered by the RideSafe policy.
Are there any age restrictions in the RideSafe Policy?
Yes, Loss of Income cover does not apply to those aged 65 years or over. Limited Capital Benefits payments also apply to those under 18 or over 65 years of age.

If I have a question in relation to membership or purchasing a package, who do I contact?
Contact your association or if you are a new customer, the partner in your respective state.
What happens at the renewal of the 3 month introductory package?
You will be sent a membership offer from the partner in the state where you reside. For example, if you reside in SA you will be sent a membership offer from Bicycle SA. You are under no obligation to purchase this membership.
